Yeah! You should be so proud of me. I am writing a journal! So, lets see here...I got back from camp a couple weeks ago. I was a CIT II (counselor in training 2) at a girl scout camp in the middle of nowhere. It was a pretty interesting 3 weeks. I got a bat out of a tabin (the things we stay in, they are inbetween a cabin and tent, hence the name) with only a broom and a flashlight! Then the next night we had a bird in our tabin! The last week I had a group that was very difficult. Out of 10 girls, we had about 5 of them crying at any given moment. I was like holy moly!!! It was scary....very scary. I dressed up as a superhero, then a lion a week later and ate dinner in my costume. I think that was my favorite part. Hmm, what else. Oh! I went on a 9 mile hike to two different waterfals in only 5 hours. Pretty spiffy, eh? We also had a bear visit us in the middle of the night! We were all woken up and had to sleep in this storage room so that if it came back we wouldn't be eaten. Yeah, so that was my experience in the woods!

School. School starts in less than a week! You probably think that I'm crazy, but I am actually pretty excited. I have amazing classes that I'm looking foward to. The only problem is that my schedual is wacky. Ah! The horrors of fixing your schedual! And my locker doesn't open. That should be interesting on the first day. Book Club! I miss my book club. I'm so excited for it! I wasn't able to go to the summer ones, sadly.

So, freshman orientation was today. As part of link crew, I helped out with that. It was amazing ambushing the freshmen. My group was pretty good. The only problem was registration. We had 15 minutes to take them through registration, and it takes about 1.5 hours. So that was pretty tricky. I felt so bad for some of the freshmen because they were so scared! I found lonely freshmen during lunch and had them come sit with us, and they didn't look up or eat anything. I was trying to talk to them, but that didn't really work. It was very sad. So the last link crew thing of the summer is open house at the end of the week. I get to be randomly disperesed in the school and find lost parents and students. All the link crew stuff is going pretty well so far, so hopefully the same will go for the open house.

I'm hungry...

Hey, I was looking through profiles for people interested in Piano and came across your profile. I've just opened a phpBB forum for pianists/piano enthusiasts/classical music fans to discuss music (and just about anything). The forum is complete with various features. As we're just starting out, some new members would be great. I'm also looking for sensible users as global moderators / moderators. If you fancy checking us out, visit [link] and register. :) Take care

A photograph is usually looked at - seldom looked into.
